I have a lot of thoughts, and I like to write about them in strenuous detail.

What kind of things do you write about?

I know, the title of this Substack is vague, but that is on purpose. I’m interested in writing about a lot of things, and this is the place where I will post those thoughts. It could be about music, or a book, or a video game, or an experience, etc.

Why so much detail?

Well, I like breaking down the little things, digging deep into the experience I had with a certain subject matter. This naturally breads a large amount of detail. My goal is to put you in my shoes, for you to understand my perspective. And while I am a proponent of the less is more writing style, I also think there is a space for the little details that get left out. This my space to hang on to the details.

What else do you do?

I primarily work on a project called Level Story, which started out as a YouTube show, then became a magazine, and has now become just me. I am Level Story. Most of the time, I talk about story in video games. I post video essays on YouTube and stream on Twitch, while doing the occasional podcast or projects like this. I’m also working on writing more fiction that I hope to post in the near future.
